Claude Monet Brochure

TASK: The objective of this project was to design a twofold six-panel brochure advertising an art exhibition for a specific artist, which would be at the Getty Museum in Los Angles. The brochure will be distributed within the museum, so it needs to be a branded promotion of the Getty. The last step of this project included printing, cutting, and folding the brochure to create a final mock-up.

I began this project by researching a variety of artists, and I selected Claude Monet for the art exhibition. After, I went through Monet’s paintings and picked the ones I believed worked best together. For the typeface, I wanted a font that complimented Monet’s work, so I chose to use Baskerville for the brochure. Lastly, the title for the art exhibition needed to match the contents within the pamphlet, so I decided to title the exhibition Light & Reflections.
