Dierks Bentley Project

TASK: The objective of this project is to design promotional elements for an upcoming performance at Austin City Limits. The promotional features include an 18in. x 24in. poster and an email advertisement that will be promoting the event and the musical artist performing live at the Moody Theater. Lastly, the email must relate to the custom artwork used in the poster, the artist, and branded as it pertains to ACL and PBS.

There were plenty of talented artists to choose from the list on the ACL website, but one truly stuck out to me. I selected Dierks Bentley as the artist to use for this project because he loves the country, is a well-respected and humble man in the country music genre. My approach for the poster was to have a country vibe that would illustrate Dierks’s band on the road to The Moody Theater. Lastly, I used elements from my poster to create a cohesive email advertisement.
